It came in the mail, and I put it together, however it didn't come with the quick release mechanism to install the front wheel which had me frustrated and heading to my local bike store. For a small fee they installed the front wheel with the quick release. Once home, I rode it around and found that shifting up in gears was very easy and smooth but it was impossible to shift down. Once again, another trip to the local bike store, they found that the cable for the gears was completely corroded and rusted. The cable for the back break was the same. Again for a price, they fixed these items. I peeked inside, and there was a second box nested inside, nearly the same size as the outer box. The nested box (that actually contained all the parts) had ZERO evidence of tape as well. It arrived within a couple of days. The box was damaged--which is to be expected from FedEx--but besides some minor scratches on the tips of the front tire fork (which were sticking through the bottom of the box), the bike was in perfect condition.My wife found the instructions a bit vague in places, but she was actually able to put the bike together herself before I got home from work. Assembly required 2 sizes of allen wrenches, a ratchet (or wrenches), and a phillips screwdriver. Needle nose pliers were useful for adjusting the brakes (you have to pull the wire tight while simultaneously screwing a bolt), but not required. Once assembled, we inflated the tires a little and the bike was good to go. According to my wife, the bike rides great.
