I Bought this bike for my sons 12th birthday in hopes it would be close in quality. I had read many reviews about the pedals not fitting so I figured they would have fixed that by now. Nope. It still came with the wrong size pedals, so I had to take the pedals off of my bike so my son could take his new ride for a spin on his birthday. The front disk brake was very disappointing. This was one of the main draws for me getting this model because of the better disk brake option. Not so. It was far less responsive than the standard rear break on the bike. It took a lot of tweaking to get it to even slow the bike down. We do light trail riding and on the second ride (less than 10 miles on the bike) the rear gear changer hit a root and broke. It was made of plastic and couldn't stand up to any rough treatment. He's had a $79 bike from WalMart for the past 4 years that's held up better. Lastly, the bike was pretty heavy.
